My Story
Flávio Silva is a Canada-based composer blending classical and cinematic styles in music for film, sync licensing, and video games.
Originally from Porto, Portugal, Flávio studied piano, guitar, and music theory before earning his BFA in Music from York University. He is also a member of the Screen Composers Guild of Canada.
Inspired by scores like The Lord of the Rings, Flávio creates immersive soundscapes that enhance storytelling and gameplay. He collaborates with filmmakers and developers to craft tailored scores that elevate each project.
He’s also an experienced live performer and currently plays keyboards with the Toronto-based Daniel Monte band.
